Fan
Sets whether or not to stop the fan by linking with the camera's REC signal. Set "Fan Control" under
"System Settings" to "On".

Note
• When set to "On", targets to be linked are REC signals that are compatible with this video
display (SDI or HDMI signals of Cinema EOS System cameras and Canon professional-use
video cameras).
• At a room temperature (25 ˚C), the fan remains off for approximately one minute when the AC
power supply is used and ten minutes when the DC power supply is used. Select the type of
power supply according to the purposes.
• If the temperature inside the main unit increases while the fan is off, the message "Fan will be
rotated as the temperature is high." is displayed and the fan starts rotating approximately ten
seconds later. Since the temperature of the main unit has increased, the fan rotates faster than
usual.
• The video display's fan may start rotating earlier than the camera because the temperature
inside the main unit has increased.
• The fan may not stop in some conditions, for example when used at a high temperature.
Camera
Sets conditions to display camera information.
Information
Automatic: Camera information is displayed for 4 seconds when the information has changed.
On: Camera information is always displayed.
Off: Camera information is not displayed.
