2.2 Hardware Installation
1. Place the Camera on the ceiling or fix it onto wall
Use mounting diagram to help you to drill the holes.
2. Plug an Ethernet cable into the Camera
Open dome cover and then connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN socket located on the
Network Camera and attach it to the network.
3. Prepare for waterproof installation
• Cable Gland: For use with an Exterior-grade Ethernet cable. Exterior-grade Ethernet
cables are already waterproof.
• Conduit Gland: For use with a flexible conduit. This solution is recommended when an
exterior-grade Ethernet cable is not available or when other cable connections, like
audio input, DC 12V power, etc. will be connected to the camera.
