IS A FLIGHT CREW MEMBER;
-HE
IS A FLIGHT CREW MEMBER TRAINEE;
OR
-HE
PERFORMS AN ESSENTIAL FUNCTION IN CONNECTION WITH THE
EXTERNAL-LOAD OPERATION.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
The emergency procedures
laid
down in the
basic
Flight
Manual remain
applicable
but
are completed
by the following
procedures.
EnQine failure
with
external
load
-If
an engine
failure
should
occur
in flight
with
an external
load,
establish
autorotational
flight
and inmediately
release
the load.
-If
engine
failure
occurs
whilst
ground
personnel
are hooking
up the load,
the pilot
should
move away to the
right,
applying
collective
pitch
to
.
hold the aircraft
up. Ground personnel
are to be forewarned
that
in
the event
of engine
failure
they
are to move away to the left.
