4. Understanding Printer Messages

If a message appears on the control panel, refer to the following sec-
tions for the description of each message and the action to take.
(1) Status messages
Display the current printer status.
(2) Warning messages
Display a warning message.
(3) Caution messages
The message LED blinks and a caution message is displayed.
Requests you to perform a necessary task before resuming
printing.
(4) Operator call messages
The message LED blinks and an operator call message is dis-
played. The printer goes off-line and request you to perform a
necessary task before resuming printing.
(5) Service call messages
The message LED lights up and a service call message is dis-
played. If the message appears repeatedly, you need to call
your Technical Representative.
