2. Printing Problems

The following provides information on most printing problems you
might encounter. If the advice provided here does not solve your
problem, contact your Technical Representative.
Symptom
No Printing The printer is off-line.
The interface cable is
not securely connected
to the printer and com-
puter or defective.
You are not using the
printer driver for Page-
Works 20.
The printer port set-
ting is incorrect.
There is no paper in the
specified paper source.
There is a paper mis-
feed.
You are selecting Man-
ual Feed.
The printer may need
service.

Cause
Press the On Line key
to take the printer on-
line.
Reconnect the inter-
face cable or replace
the interface cable.
Change the default
printer setting to the
PageWorks 20.
Change the setting.
Load paper in the spec-
ified paper source.
Remove the misfed
paper.
See page 5-1, 5-3, 5-5
or 5-7.
Load the selected paper
size in the multipur-
pose tray and press the
On Line key to print.
Contact your technical
representative.
