Setting the Port Operating System

A port's operating system configuration can be matched to that of the computer
attached to the port by performing the following steps:
1. Invoke Hotkey mode:
[Num Lock] + [-] or [Ctrl] + [F12]
2. Press a
[Function]
function keys in the following table:
After pressing a function key you automatically exit Hotkey mode.

Restore the Default Values

This administrator-only Hotkey restores the KH2508
values (see RESTORE DEFAULT VALUES on page 34) by performing the
following steps:
1. Invoke Hotkey mode:
[Num Lock] + [-] or [Ctrl] + [F12]
2. Press .
[R]
3. Press
[Enter]
After you press
[Enter]
SETTING for three seconds; then the message disappears and you
automatically exit Hotkey mode.
