3. When the system recognizes a CPU module, it displays one of the following
messages:
For a 20-megahertz module:
3/misc/cpu-type's code: NDX-90A
The at the end of the message tells you that you have a 20-megahertz
90A
CPU.
For a 25-megahertz module:
3/misc/cpu-type's code: NDX-96A
The at the end of the message tells you that you have a 25-megahertz
96A
CPU.
For a 33-megahertz module:
3/misc/cpu-type's code: NDX-102A
The
NDX-102A
33-megahertz CPU.
If your workstation fails to recognize the CPU you have just installed,
• Check to make sure that the connector on the CPU is pressed all the way
into the connector on the base system module.
• Check to see whether you've bent any of the connector pins.
If you still have problems, call your system manager or your Digital service
representative for help.
