3. When the system recognizes a CPU module, it displays one of the following
messages:
For a 20-megahertz module:
3/misc/cpu-type's code: NDX-90A
The
at the end of the message tells you that you have a 20-megahertz
90A
CPU.
For a 25-megahertz module:
3/misc/cpu-type's code: NDX-96A
The
at the end of the message tells you that you have a 25-megahertz
96A
CPU.
For a 33-megahertz module:
3/misc/cpu-type's code: NDX-102A
The
NDX-102A
33-megahertz CPU.
If your workstation fails to recognize the CPU you have just installed,
Check to make sure that the connector on the CPU is pressed all the way
into the connector on the base system module.
Check to see whether you've bent any of the connector pins.
If you still have problems, call your system manager or your Digital service
representative for help.
