11.1 Removing a CPU Module
6. Use your fingers or a small pair of pliers to squeeze the lock on one of the
mounting posts until it releases the corner of the CPU module. Lift the
corner until it is free from the lock. Repeat this procedure with the posts
on the other two locks.
Avoid touching the heat sinks on the CPU module; they break easily.

7. Keeping your hands well away from the heat sinks, grip the edges of
the module and lift it up until it moves out of the connector on the base
module. You may need to rock the CPU module from side to side very
gently to loosen it.
