Changing the Settings
This section describes the procedure to change the settings on <DEVICE SETTINGS>, taking the
steps to specify <EXTENDED AMOUNT> as an example.

Press [ON/OFF] to turn on the machine.
See "Turning on the Machine" on page 18.

Press [Menu] repeatedly to select <DEVICE SETTINGS>.

Select the menu.
(1) Use [... ] or [.... ] to select the setting item, then press [OK].
Example: select <PRINT SETTINGS>.
The setting screen for the selected item is displayed.

Example: select <EXTENDED AMOUNT>.

Change the settings.
(1) Use [... ] or [.... ] to select the setting item, then press [OK].
Example: select <SMALL>.

QUIET MODE
Use this function if you want to reduce the operation noise, such as when printing at night.
~ Important
• The printing speed may be reduced compared to when this setting is set to <OFF>.
• This function may not be so effective depending on the print quality setting.
• Furthermore, certain noise, such as when the machine is preparing for printing, is not
reduced.
PREVENT ABRASION
Use this setting only if the print surface becomes smudged.
