Using Your
Computer on
Your Desk
Your computer was designed to be easy to carry around and use
while you travel. However, it's also powerful enough to use as
your primary desktop computer.
This chapter describes how to connect several optional devices
that can make your computer at home on your desk.

Using an External Monitor

You can easily attach an external VGS or Super VGA monitor to
your computer. Some external monitors display more information
than the computer's built-in LCD. Also, having an external moni-
tor makes the entire display bigger.
You can also connect other video output devices, such as LCD
projection panels (for overhead projectors) and other types of
multimedia projection systems.
