Use the PS/2 mouse port to connect a PS/2-compatible pointing
device.
Use the PS/2 keyboard port to connect a PS/2 keyboard.
Use the microphone jack to connect an external monaural
microphone or other audio input device.
Use the headphone jack to connect stereo headphones or
externally powered stereo speakers.
Use the audio line-in jack to play and record stereo sound from an
external audio device, such as a stereo system.
Use the audio line-out jack to connect your computer to a tape
recorder or a stereo amplifier to record or play sounds from your
computer.
Use the AC IN socket to connect the Desk Station V Plus to AC
power, using a power cord.
Desk Station V Plus Security
"Using a Password" on page 243 describes how to set a password
to protect your valuable data files. If you're using the Desk Station
V Plus and have set a password, the password can provide protec-
tion for the notebook as well.
This password is called the Undock Password in the Toshiba Sys-
tem Control Panel, and the Eject Password in TSETUP. When
you enable this option, you must enter a password before you can
remove the computer from the Desk Station V Plus. This section
describes how to set an Undock Password using the Toshiba Sys-
tem Control Panel. To find out how to set an eject password using
TSETUP, refer to the PASSWORD section of the TSETUP chap-
ter on page 431.
