Note:
Access restrictions based on IP address
Access restrictions based on the IP address can be set by clicking [Edit] in the above screen and selecting [Public
Network Address] and [Public Subnet Mask].
Example: Settings for allowing access for clients at 192.168.11.xxx
Network Address: 192.168.11.0
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
The string xxx stands for a number from 1 to 254. Enter 0 for the network address.
Example: Setting for prohibiting access for clients at 192.168.xxx.xxx
Network Address: 192.168.0.0
Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0
The string xxx stands for a number from 1 to 254. Enter 0 for the network address.
Note:
If the folder in the TeraStation that is accessible by NFS is used as a VMware ESX/ESXi hard drive, the NFS operation
mode must be set to [Kernel Mode] (default setting is [User Mode]) for usage.
