RETAIL ENVIRONMENT – GENERIC MODE
This environment is recommended for non-specific use of the cash register in that
you can reprogram the main window to meet your own personal needs.
All the functions and programming of DEPARTMENT/PLU environment are still
available in Generic mode (for more information on the Retail – DEPARTMENT/PLU
environment, refer to the related chapter).
To set up the cash register for Generic mode, select [F] (Functions) > GENERAL
FUNCTIONS > [Config] > [MACHINE CONFIGURATION]. Select [Generic] (for
Keypad Use Mode). Select followed by keys [User Interface configuration] >
[Keypad int. config].

GENERIC PROGRAMMING OF THE KEYPAD

Setting Generic mode for displaying the keypad and keys in the Sales window on the
touch screen allows these items to be modified freely, and you can customise them
to meet your own personal requirements (in terms of key dimension, position on the
display and link type: department, PLU-item, functions, payments).
