If propane is used, be aware that with a tank that is too small (i.e., under 100 lbs, if this
is the only gas appliance in the dwelling—see NPFA 58), there may be a loss of pressure.
This can result in insufficient fuel delivery that can cause sooting, delayed ignition, or other
malfunctions. Any damage resulting from an improper installation is not covered by the
limited warranty.

wrapper in areas adjacent to the nailing flanges.
Nailing flange positions are provided for the following wall finish thicknesses:
NOTE: A second, field-supplied noncombustible board should be installed over the supplied noncombustible board.
The fireboard supplied with the unit is not intended to be the finish material. Consider this when calculating the total
wall finish thickness for nailing flange positioning.
Preparing the nailing flanges for a cleanface finish installation
1. If the wall finish material is thicker than 1/2", move the nailing flanges to the correct horizontal position.
NOTE: The nailing flanges are set at the factory in the correct vertical position for a cleanface installation (Figure 12).
