What to do if... (Troubleshooting)
A warning buzzer sounds during driving
The seat belt reminder light is flashing

Are the driver and the front passenger wearing the seat belts? (P. 477)
The parking brake indicator is on

Is the parking brake released? (P. 177)
Depending on the situation, other types of warning buzzer may also sound.

An alarm is activated and the horn sounds
Did anyone inside the vehicle open a door during setting the alarm?

The sensor detects it and the alarm sounds. (P. 71)
Do one of the following to deactivate or stop the alarms:
• Unlock the doors or open the trunk.
• Turn the engine switch to ACCESSORY or IGNITION ON mode, or start
the engine.
A warning buzzer sounds when leaving the vehicle
Is the electronic key left inside the vehicle or the moon roof opened?
