To mount the shared folder

Open a Web browser, enter "192.168.0.4" in the
address bar, and press the return key.

After connection is established, click the [DISK
SETUP] button.

Select [NFSv3] for [Type].

In the [DISK SETUP] screen, enter the following for
[SERVER IP] and [SERVER DIR].
SERVER IP: 192.168.0.9
SERVER DIR: /Users/sony/SR_Files
When the shared folder is mounted, the [MOUNT]
button changes to the [UNMOUNT] button.

To verify file reading/writing access to the shared
folder, enter "Test" in the [MKDIR] box, and click the
[MKDIR] button.
Verify that the entered directory name has been
created and appears in the list.

Notes on File Transfer

When SStP MXF files are transferred from the SRPC-5/
SR-PC4 to Windows 7 Professional, file sharing may be
damaged.
To prevent this, add the following registry values and
restart the server beforehand.
Registry hive: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Registry key: System\CurrentControlSet\Services\
LanmanServer\Parameters
Name: MaxNonpagedMemoryUsage
Type: REG_DWORD
Data value: 0xFFFFFFFF
Solving Problems related to eSATA
HDD and SRPC-5/SR-PC4

Connections

If an eSATA HDD in HFS+ format is connected to the
SRPC-5/SR-PC4, it may be mounted as "Read Only" and
file transfer to the eSATA HDD may not be possible.
Mount the drive as "Read & Write" to enable file transfer
as follows.

Click the eSATA drive icon on the desktop, and select
[Get Info] in the [File] menu or press the i key while
holding down the command key.

When the properties appear, verify that the [everyone]
privilege in [Sharing & Permissions] is set to [Read &
Write]. If it is set to [Read Only], change the setting
[Read & Write].

In the [DISK SETUP] tab of the SRPC-5/SR-PC4
Web application, change [OPTION] to [force], and
click the [MOUNT] button.
The eSATA drive is mounted as "Read/Write," and
file transfer will be possible.

Configuring FTP Server Settings

This section describes how to configure settings for the
FTP server on your PC.
In addition, you can improve the importing speed by
creating a file with the following content (ftp.conf file) on
the server PC in the folder to which this unit will be
mounted.
host=192.168.0.7: Enter the IP address of the server.
user=user name:
Enter the FTP user name.
passwd=password: Enter the FTP password.
path=path:
Enter the path from the FTP home
directory.
The content for entry differs depending on the operating
system. For details, see step 11 in "For Windows 7
Professional" or step 4 in "For Mac OS X 10.7.4".
Note
If the FTP home directory and the shared folder are the
same, the "path" entry is not required.
For Windows 7 Professional

Click [Control Panel] >[Programs and Features] in the
Start menu.

When the [Programs and Features] dialog box appears,
click [Turn Windows feature on and off].

Select the [FTP Server] check box for [Internet
Information Services] under [Turn Windows feature
on and off], and click [OK].

Click [Control Panel] >[Administrative Tools] in the
Start menu.

Click [Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager] in
the [Administrative Tools] window.
