Right-click the computer name that appears in the left
pane of the [Internet Information Services (IIS)
Manager] window, and click [Add FTP Site].

Enter a name for [FTP site name] in the [Add FTP
Site] dialog box, specify the path of the folder with
which the unit will be connected in [Physical path],
and then click [Next].

Click the [IP Address] drop-down button in the
[Binding and SSL Settings] dialog box, specify the
displayed IP address, select [SSL] in [No SSL], and
then click [Next].

Select [All Users] for [Authorization] in the
[Authentication and Authorization Information]
window, and select both the [Read] and [Write] check
boxes for [Permission].

Click the [Finish] button.

Enter the following for ftp.conf.
host=192.168.0.7
user=srpc
password=sony1234
This completes FTP server configuration for Windows 7
Professional.
For Mac OS X 10.7.4

Double-click [Applications] in the Finder, double-
click the [Utilities] icon in the [Applications] window,
and start [Terminal].

Enter the following commands in Terminal.
a. sudo -s
b. launchctl load -w /System/Library/
LaunchDaemons/ftp.plist

If the FTP home directory is different from the NFS
directory, configure the following in Terminal.
Create a symbolic link.
Example: FTP home: /Users/srpc
NFS home: /Volumes/HDD2/export
# ln -s /Volumes/HDD2/export /Users/srpc/export /
Usesrs/srpc/export

Enter the following for ftp.conf.
host=192.168.0.9
user=sony
passwd=srpc4
path=export
This completes FTP server configuration for Mac OS X
