of six digits in the first part and two digits in the last part.
The first six digits constitute the serial number of the
image data, and the last two digits constitute the serial
number that indicates the specific frame (portion) of the
image data. (Portions are counted in single-frame units
based on the frames in HD images compressed in the
HDCAM-SR format.)
To display picture IDs on the control panel of the
VTR (uncompressed data only)
Set VTR SETUP menu item "635: PICTURE ID
DISPLAY" to "on".
To display file information on the VTR control
panel (uncompressed data only)
Set VTR SETUP menu item "604: TC2 MODE SEL" to
"off" to display the file information under the timecode
indication on the control panel of the VTR.
File information
For details on the VTR SETUP menu of the SRW-5800,
refer to the Operation Manual supplied with the
SRW-5800.

Transferring Video Data

You can transfer video data saved in the VTR to a shared
file server via the SRPC-5.
For details on importing from a VTR, refer to "Importing
Files" in the operating instructions for the HKSR-5804.
Transferring SRMemory Data to a
VTR
You can write (copy) video data recorded on SRMemory
to VTR tape. Write operations are performed via the
VTR's control panel.
When copying is initiated, video data is recorded by the
following methods.
• The timecode is recorded according to the timecode
recorded in the SRMemory.

• A black screen is recorded for six seconds prior to the
selected file.
• When each file has been copied, the OUT point image is
freezed and recorded for six seconds.
Memo
• 4:2:2 SR-Lite format files in the SRMemory are
converted to 4:2:2 SR-SQ and recorded.
• By setting the VTR system setting to double speed, you
can record 4:2:2 SR-Lite and SR-SQ/4:4:4 SR-SQ files
at double speed.
Note
Close the GUI of the PC during copy operations.
Opening the SRMemory

Press the CUE button and the ALT key.
The ALT+CUE menu appears.

Press the F2 (SRMem) key.
The SRMemory menu appears.
