charging heavily depends on the number of simultaneous VCs.

VPI and VCI
Be sure to use the correct Virtual Path Identifier (VPI) and Virtual Channel Identifier (VCI) numbers
assigned to you. The valid range for the VPI is 0 to 255 and for the VCI is 32 to 65535 (0 to 31 is
reserved for local management of ATM traffic). Please see the appendix for more information.

Wizard Setup : Routing
If you want to set up your Prestige in routing mode, proceed from this section. If you want to set up
your Prestige in bridge mode, go to section 4.14.
In the SITE MAP screen click Wizard Setup to display the first wizard screen.
The following table describes the fields in this screen.
LABEL
Mode
From the Mode drop-down list box, select Routing (default) if your ISP allows multiple
computers to share an Internet account.
Encapsulation
Select the encapsulation type your ISP uses from the Encapsulation drop-down list box.
Choices vary depending on what you select in the Mode field.
Select PPPoA, RFC 1483, ENET ENCAP or PPPoE.
Multiplex
The multiplexing method used by your ISP is LLC-based.
Virtual Circuit
VPI (Virtual Path Identifier) and VCI (Virtual Channel Identifier) define a virtual circuit. Refer to

the appendix for more information.
VPI
Enter the VPI assigned to you. This field may already be configured.
