Detection Timing
A memory test error is detected during the power-on
initialization procedure.
• During the period 6 s after the Polygon Motor has
been energized, a cluster of 56 or more SOS sig-
nals output for a 20 ms period is detected five con-
secutive times.
• After the lapse of 6 s after the Polygon Motor has
been energized, a cluster of below 43 or above 56
SOS signals output for a 20 ms period is detected
five consecutive times.
• No SOS signal is detected during the period from
the start of laser emission to the deenergization of
the Polygon Motor.
The Controller Board is not detected within 5 s after
the start of a print cycle.
An EEPROM read/write error occurs during the power-
on initialization procedure.
The intensity level of the Exposure Lamp does not sta-
bilize within a given period of time.
