MANAGEMEIMT OF THE RADIATOR FANS

The control unit directly controls the operation of the radiator fans according to the temperature of the en-
gine coolant and whether or not there is a climate control system.
NOTE Since the temperature of the engine is detected by the appropriate sensor, there is no longer a
thermal contact on the radiator.

Version without climate control

There is a single fan which comes on when the
temperature of the coolant exceeds 95°C.
The fan is switched off with a hysteresis of 2°C
at the temperature level.

Version with climate control

There are two fans: one low speed one and
one high speed one.
NOTE If this high speed fan comes on then
the low speed fan comes on at the
same time.
