FUEL DRIP TRAY ASSEMBLY
NOTE In order to extract the unit from the
tank, the fuel should not come above
the maximum level.
Removing-refitting
Proceed with the removal of the fuel drip tray
assembly as follows:
- using tool 187807700, remove the buttons
(arrow) fixing the luggage compartment lin-
ing and remove it, then lift up the cover to
gain access to the dust cover;
- undo the bolts (arrow) and remove the dust
cover; _ disconnect the supply pipe (1), the
breather pipe (2) and the electrical connector
(3);
- using the tool 1860893000, remove the ring
nut securing the drip tray amd extract the
drip tray from the tank, taking care not to
damage the seal.
When refitting, reverse the order of the opera-
tions carried out for the removal; at the end,
make sure that there are no fuel leaks.
