AppleTalk setup

Access the [AppleTalk Setup] screen from [Network setting] screen.
For details on the procedure for displaying the [Network setting] screen, refer to [4-2.Method for Setting Network from
Control Panel] (

Enable AppleTalk

This sets whether or not to enable AppleTalk.

On the [AppleTalk Setup] screen, touch either the [ON] or [OFF] key.
[ON] :Enables AppleTalk
[OFF] :Disables AppleTalk
The factory default setting is [ON].
Printer Name
This sets the Machine's name to be displayed on the AppleTalk network.

Touch the [Printer Name] key.

Using the data input screen, input the Print Name.

Touch [OK] key.
The Printer Name should not exceed 32 characters.
