HIGH VOLTAGE INVERTER POWER SUPPLY TEST
NOTE: Do not attempt to repair the high voltage inverter power supply board. Replace the com-
plete inverter board assembly.
Verify proper operation of the inverter board by performing the following two tests. It is recom-
mended to use an AC line input current amp meter for testing.
TEST #1
1.
Disconnect the two wires from the magnetron terminals.
2.
Place 1 liter of water into the oven cavity.
3.
Program the oven for 1 minute at full power.
4.
Press START. While the oven is operating, the amp meter should indicate between 1.0 and
1.7 amps. After approximately 23 seconds, the oven will turn off, and the display will indicate
an F7 error code.
5.
If the current is within the range indicated in the chart, proceed to "Test #2" on the next page.
If not, replace the inverter board.
