REMOVING THE WAVEGUIDE THERMOSTAT &
EXHAUST FAN MOTOR CAPACITOR
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1. Unplug microwave oven or disconnect
power.
2. Remove the microwave oven from its
mounting location (see page 4-17 for the
procedure).
3. Remove the cabinet from the microwave
oven (see page 4-18 for the procedure).

4. To remove the waveguide thermostat:
a) Disconnect the two wire connectors
from the waveguide thermostat termi-
nals.
b) Remove the two hex nuts from the
waveguide thermostat bracket and re-
move the thermostat.

5. To remove the exhaust fan motor ca-
pacitor:
a) Disconnect the two wire connectors
from the capacitor terminals.
b) Remove the screw from the base of
the capacitor and remove the capacitor.
