 To replace a station
Use flowchart to replace a station.
1. Configure DHCP server so that the new station installed inherits the IP Address
assigned to the replaced station.
2. Set "Language."

station to be replaced be

3. Retrieve the setting data from the
station to be replaced.

4. Replace the station.
Note the MAC address of the station to be replaced.
5. Change "IP addressing method" to
"Static IPv6" for the newly installed
station and configure an appropriate
"IPv6 Address."
To configure a station through a Web browser,
refer to Web Setting Manual for each station.
6. Replace the setting data.
"4.3. Station Replacement"
The station is restarted and the IPv6 Address
assigned by DHCP server beforehand will be
assigned.
If a DHCP address cannot be assigned, it will
default to "FDC2::7000."
7. Set "LANGUAGE" of the replaced
Master Station.
Refer to IX Master Station Operation Manual.
8. Done.
