When a USB modem is connected to the router, the following fields and controls are available on
the page:
Parameter
Enable USB modem
Connection to
mobile Internet
Select a value from the drop-down list to specify the mode for connection
to the network of your operator or to disable the USB modem.
Modes for 3G/2G USB modem:
3G 2G: The USB modem connects to the 3G (UMTS) network. If
unavailable, connects to the 2G (EDGE/GPRS) network.
2G 3G: The USB modem connects to the 2G (EDGE/GPRS) network. If
unavailable, connects to the 3G (UMTS) network.
3G: The USB modem connects to the 3G (UMTS) network only.
2G: The USB modem connects to the 2G (EDGE/GPRS) network only.
Modes for CDMA USB modem:
EVDO+1X: The USB modem connects to the EVDO network. If
unavailable, connects to the 1X network.
EVDO only: The USB modem connects to the EVDO network only.
1X only: The USB modem connects to the 1X network only.
Off: The USB modem is disabled.
The state of the connection to the network of the operator. The type of
network to which the USB modem is connected or connecting at the
moment is displayed to the right of the light.
Red light: The connection is not established.
Yellow light: The USB modem is connecting to the network.
Green light: The connection is established.
