The following fields are available on the tab:
Parameter
WDS Mode
WDS Phy Mode
WDS Encryption

The WDS function parameters specified on the tab must be the same for all interconnected
devices. In addition, it is required to set the same channel (on the Basic settings tab).
When you have configured the parameters, click the Change button.
The WDS function mode.
Disable: The function is disabled.
Bridge mode: Access points communicate to each other only,
wireless devices cannot connect to them.
Repeater mode: Access points communicate to each other,
wireless clients can connect to the WLAN created by
interconnected access points.
A physical mode of data transfer between access points
interconnected via the WDS function.
CCK: for 802.11b devices only.
OFDM: for 802.11g devices only.
HTMIX: for 802.11g and 802.11n devices.
GREENFIELD: for 802.11n devices only.
A type of encryption for data transfer between access points
interconnected via the WDS function.
NONE – no encryption.
WEP.
TKIP.
AES.
A key for the specified type of encryption. If the NONE value is
selected from the WDS Encryption drop-down list, the field is
not displayed.
The MAC addresses of devices connected to the router via the
WDS function.
