This section provides instructions for upgrading the VCS One client from 2.0.1
to 5.0, including the following subsections:

Before you upgrade your 2.0.1 client systems to VCS One 5.0, you should back up
the configurations on each of your client systems.
To back up your 2.0.1 configurations

Create a backup directory on each client system. Enter the following:
# mkdir /backup

Copy the vcsone.conf file into the backup directory for each system. Enter
the following:
# cp /etc/VRTSvcsone/vcsone.conf

Check that the service groups on each client system are up and running.
Enter the following:
# /opt/VRTSvcsone/bin/hagrp -state
Follow the instructions in this section to uninstall one of your client systems.

Log in as root on the client system.

Navigate to the directory containing the VCS One installer. Enter the

# cd /opt/VRTS/install/
