Exit 1 media shift gear removal

1.
Remove the rear RIP card cover. See
2.
Remove the rear motor cover. See
3.
Remove the rear upper cover. See
4.
Open the printer left door assembly.
5.
Remove the exit 2 unit assembly. See
6.
Open the printer front door assembly.
7.
Remove the printer front left cover. See
8.
Remove the exit 1 media shift assembly. See
9.
Remove the exit 1 media shift motor. See
10.
Remove the 2 screws securing the bracket (A) to the exit 1 media shift assembly (B).
11.
Remove the bracket (A) from the exit 1 media shift assembly (B).
12.
Slide the shift assembly (C) in order to release the shift assembly boss from the exit 1 media shift gear (D).
13.
Remove the exit 1 media shift gear (D) by lifting it upward.
