Theory of Operation Ver2.0 Aug.2005
(2) Stapling mode
The FS operation signal [1] from the main body allows the main tray lift motor (M3) to bring up the main tray.
When the stapler paper exit upper limit sensor (PS7) turns ON, the up operation of the tray stops.
When PS7 turns OFF [2] a specified period of time after the FS operation signal turns ON, M3 brings down the
tray. And a specified period of time after PS7 turns OFF, M3 brings up the tray again and stops when PS7 turns
ON.
M3 lifts down the main tray a specified period of time after the paper exit roller motor (M7) turns ON [3]. After a
specified period of time [4], M3 rotates in the reverse direction to lift up the main tray, and then stops when PS7
turns ON [5].
