The keyboard sections (Upper 1, Upper 2, Lower)
can be instantly transposed up or down one or
two octaves using the OCTAVE +/- buttons. The

eration can only be performed on a selected
section and the setting can be stored to the Per-
formance.
1. Select the section that requires an octave change.
Use the section select buttons as already
described (see Page 5 of this manual). The
selected section starts to flash.
2. Press either OCTAVE + or OCTAVE -.
Pressing either button the first time shows
the current status of the octave setting for
the selected section (0 = standard pitch).
3. Press the respective OCTAVE button to transpose
up [+] or down [-] one or two octaves.
Each time you press one of the OCTAVE but-
tons, the octave setting of the selected sec-
tion is raised or lowered by one octave, to a
maximum of ±2 octaves.
Note: the Octave setting is summed to the
current transpose value.
If you want to keep the change, save the
Performance using STORE PERF. The
changes will be lost if you select a different
Performance or the same one again.
4. To clear the setting, press both OCTAVE buttons
simultaneously
The display shows the 0 setting for a short
