TRACKS AND MIDI CHANNELS
In Song mode, WK3 can transmit and receive
data via 16 MIDI channels (Song mode). In re-
ception, WK3 receives MIDI on 16 Channels re-
gardless of the current mode.
You can assign a MIDI channel from 1...16 to
each WK3 track from the 16 channels available
in «Edit Performance». A track can also be ex-
cluded from MIDI by assigning the "Off" status..
The factory set MIDI configuration of all WK3 track
for all modes is as follows:

Note: Via MIDI, WK3 is recognised as a 16
part multi-timbral instrument, regardless of the
current playing mode.

sion (master) and reception (slave) channels and must be
tuned to the same channel to communcate.
A multi-timbral instrument such as WK3 can receive and
transmit on several channels simultaneously.

multi-timbral expander. Up to 16 MIDI channels travel-
ling through a single MIDI cable can control the same
number of timbric parts.
