Programming the User Style Performance

Unlike the Performances for Real Time, Song/
Style and Song modes, the User Style Perform-
ance cannot be accessed directly from the Edit
Performance button. Each User Style is associ-
ated to a single Style Performance which is stored
to the current User Style location only and not to
other locations as is the case for the other play
modes.
A User Style Performance can be programmed
when WK3 is set to User Style Record mode.
Once you enter "record pending" status, activate
all the accompaniment tracks in the Sequencer
and modify them using the Performance editing
procedures: Perf Edit, MIDI Edit, Mixer Edit.
Refer to the Edit Performance chapter for details
of each edit function. The exception is Sound
Edit which can be carried out only with a single
track in record mode.
The modifications are memorised directly to the
User Style location either by using STORE PERF
+ ENTER, or by pressing START/STOP.
EDIT USER STYLE PERFORMANCE
1. Enter User Style Record mode as already ex-
plained on pages 3 and 4.
WK3 enters "record pending" status with the
Drum track.
2. Activate all the Style accompaniment tracks in
the sequencer.
Press the corresponding track buttons in the
Sequencer to set the tracks in record mode.
The corresponding leds start to flash.
