2.2 Selecting an Installation Method

When installing an OS with ServerStart, there are multiple installation methods. Prior
to OS installation, decide which mode to use for the installation.

2.2.1 Supported OS

The following operating systems can be installed by using ServerStart V7.808.

ServerStart does not support OS installation of Linux.
Any of unsupported OS cannot be installed.
Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 can be installed.

2.2.2 Installation Modes of ServerStart

Quick Installation mode
This mode completes OS installation by executing plain settings. Select this mode when you want to
install an OS quickly and simply.
When installing Windows Server 2008 in the Quick Installation mode, perform full installation.
To install an OS while maintaining the established RAID environment, select the Quick Installation
mode.
Select "Logical Disk 0" in the [Select the Boot Controller and Boot Disk] window and install the OS.
