Select "RPA" and press the controller.

Start the engine but do not drive off yet.
6.
Select "Set tyre pressure" and press the
controller.
7.
Select "Yes" and press the controller.
The message "Initializing" appears for a few
seconds. The warning light in the instru-
ment cluster lights up yellow for a few sec-
onds.
8.
Drive off.
Initialising is completed during the journey,
without confirmation being provided.
Indication of a flat tyre
If the warning light lights up red, a mes-
sage appears on the control display and
an acoustic signal is in addition emit-
ted: there is a puncture or the tyre pressure has
fallen substantially.
1.
Reduce your speed and stop the car care-
fully. Avoid violent or sudden braking and
steering manoeuvres.
2.
Identify the damaged wheel. Do this by
checking the tyre pressures with the aid of
the M Mobility System, see Reinflating the
tyre on page 178.

Two-stage brake lights*
The brake lights light up in two stages, depend-
ing on how sharply you apply the brakes.
>
Normal braking: the brake lights and the
centre brake light come on.
>
Hard braking or braking that activates the
ABS: the illuminated surface of the brake
lights becomes larger.
