This symbol appears on the control display if
you are able to give further spoken commands.
If no further spoken commands are possible,
continue by operating the item of equipment via
iDrive.

Prompting with the spoken commands
available
You can instruct the system to prompt you with
a list of the spoken commands that are possible
for whichever menu on the control display is
selected.
To have the possible spoken commands read
out to you:
{Options}
For instance, if you have selected "CD", the
spoken commands available for operating the
CD player and CD changer
Requesting help
{Help}
Using alternative spoken commands
There are often several different commands
available for performing the same function, e.g.:
{Information menu} or {i menu}
Calling up functions directly
Short commands enable you to perform certain
functions straight away, irrespective of which
menu item is selected, see page 194.
