4. Select "BMW Contact" and press the
controller.
5. Select "Nearest BMW dealer" and press the
controller.
A list of BMW Service outlets in the vicinity
of your current position is displayed.
To call a BMW Service outlet:
1. Select the desired BMW Service and press
the controller.
2. Select "Call" and press the controller.
Voice contact is established with the BMW
Service outlet.
To adopt a BMW Service outlet as a destination
for the navigation system:
1. Select the desired BMW Service and press
the controller.
2. Select "Accept as destination" and press
the controller.
The BMW Service outlet is selected as the
destination and route guidance is started.
Traffic info +* traffic information
With BMW Assist enabled, you can call up the
latest traffic information from Traffic info +.
You can call up the traffic information manually
via iDrive. The traffic information is shown on
Online Edition for Part-No. 01 41 0 159 168 © 03/05 BMW AG
the route map and displayed automatically dur-
ing route guidance, see page 122.
If you wish to receive traffic information from
Traffic Info +, data transmission must be acti-
vated.
1. Call up start menu.
2. Press the controller to call up the menu.
3. Select "Traffic information settings" and
press the controller.
4. Professional navigation system:
Select "Traffic information" and press the
controller.
5. Select "Traffic info +" and press the
controller.
Traffic information can be transmitted.
Information Plus*
If you call up the BMW Assist information serv-
ice, you can for instance obtain information on
current events, filling stations or hotels and
have phone numbers and addresses sent to
you.
You can then dial a phone number directly or
transfer an address to the navigation system as
a destination. Your mobile phone must be
logged on in the car before you can do this.
