Access to the mountings on the rear
seat with through-loading system
The illustration shows the rear right seat by way
of an example.
The ISOFIX child seat mountings are located
beneath the caps.
Before fitting the child seat mountings, remove
the ISOFIX cover caps and pull the belt away
from the area of the mountings.
When driving with children
If your car has rear side airbags, do not
allow children travelling in child seats to
lean out towards the door trim, as serious inju-
ries could occur if the side airbags were to be
triggered off.<
You can have the side airbags at the rear disa-
bled. BMW Service will be pleased to advise
you on this.
Child safety catches in rear doors
Push down the locking lever on the rear doors:
The door in question can now only be opened
from the outside.
