Calling up information
1. Call up "Communication".
2. Select "BMW Assist" and press the
controller.
3. Select "Information Plus" and press the
controller.
4. To call up information or show a news item:
> Select "New query" and press the con-
troller.
You are put in contact with a member of
the BMW Information Service, who will
give you the information you require.
You can then have a phone number or
address sent to you and transfer these
e.g. to the navigation system for route
guidance. Bookings can be made
directly by the BMW Information Service
at many hotels.
> To display the older news item:
Select the news item and press the
controller.
My Info*
This service enables you to have text messages
transmitted to your vehicle via the BMW Assist
homepage.

1. Call up "Communication".

3. Select "My Info" and press the controller.
4. To call up or display a news item:
> Select "Update messages" and press
the controller. The news items are trans-
mitted.
> To display an older news item:
Select the news item and press the con-
troller.
When you have received a message including a
phone number or an address, you can relay this
information to your navigation system or tele-
phone. Your mobile phone must be logged on in
the car before you can do this.
A maximum of ten news items can be displayed.
Before you can receive further new messages,
some of the existing messages may have to be
deleted:
1. Select the news item and press the control-
ler.
2. Select "Options" and press the controller.
3. Select "Delete" and press the controller.
Adapting TeleService
or BMW Assist
Displaying and updating services
You will be notified if the scope of TeleService
or BMW Assist changes. In this instance, you
should update the services.
1. Call up start menu.
2. Press the controller to call up the menu.
