Starting the engine
Never run the engine in enclosed spaces,
as inhaling the harmful exhaust gas can
lead to loss of consciousness with fatal conse-
quences. The exhaust gas contains carbon
monoxide, which is colourless and odourless,
but highly toxic. Do not leave the car unat-
tended with the engine running, as this consti-
tutes a hazard.
Before leaving the car with the engine running,
move the selector lever to position N and apply
the handbrake, otherwise the car could start to
move.<

as a
result.<
