1. Select "Set" and press the controller.

2. Select the desired menu item:
> To play the tracks in the current direc-
tory in random order, select "random
directory" and press the controller.
> To play all tracks on the CD in random
order, select "random all" and press the
controller.

CD magazine
The BMW CD changer for six CDs is installed in
the glove box.
Removing the CD magazine
To load or empty it, take the CD magazine 1 out
of the CD changer:

Loading/emptying the CD magazine
When loading CDs into or removing them from
the CD magazine, hold them at the edge and do
not touch the reflective signal-sensing area.
To load:
Insert the CD into a compartment with the label
side uppermost.
To empty:
Pull out the appropriate holder, see arrow, and
remove the CD.
Inserting the CD magazine
Insert the CD magazine in fully in the direction
of the arrow.
