Using a Headset

Your terminal is equipped with an audio connector which can be connected to a headset.
To use the headset, plug the headset jack into the audio connector on the top of the
terminal.
PDT8000, PDT8037, PDT8046
For the 64MB RAM configuration, use only a stereo headset. For the 128MB RAM
configuration, use only an earphone and microphone headset.
Note: For WAN-enabled terminals, GSM voice communication is only
available through the headset. For these terminals, Symbol
recommends a 2.5mm jack headset, p/n 50-11300-050.
