To access the configuration menu, perform the following steps:

8-4-7 Configure Voice squelch level

The voice squelch determines the way in which an active channel is determined, by sampling the audio
modulation. When the voice squelch function is activated, the squelch will open only when a signal has
modulation (such as voice) present.
Before this function is activated, the squelch level and time delay need to be set.
