The CRS‐180 is designed to be freestanding, or mounted at the rear of the rack containing the
modems using the available Comtech EF Data Mounting Panel Kit KT/11708.
As shown in Figure 2‐1, this kit allows the module to be mounted into the rack horizontally or
vertically. Otherwise, because of the module's small size and weight, the user may choose to let
the module hang freely, supported by the interfacing cables.
