Replacing the Lithium Batteries
Remove the four circuit card spacers.

Repeat steps 5 through 10 for the second battery. Then, go to step 13.

Insert the four mounting screws and tighten.

Place the engraved overlay onto the AXU-MLC (/PB) or AXM-MLC (/PB) bezel.

AXW-MLC (/PB)

Replace the batteries in the AXW-MLC (/PB) wood enclosure:
Discharge the static electricity from your body by touching a grounded object.

Disconnect the mini-XLR connector from the AXW-MLC (/PB).

Flip the AXW-MLC (/PB) facedown onto a soft cloth, remove the six panel

screws, and remove the bottom panel.
Remove the touch overlay's ribbon cable connector, backlight connector, and

AXlink connector from the circuit card.
Remove the four mounting screws from the circuit card.

Gently tilt the bottom portion of the circuit card up. Then, pull the circuit card

backward to remove it from the wood enclosure. Figure 172 shows the
connectors and how to remove the circuit card.
