About the Feature Guide
The Feature Guide is designed to serve as an overall reference describing the features of the Panasonic
Advanced Hybrid & Wireless PBX. It explains what the PBX can do, as well as how to obtain the most of its
many features and facilities.
The Feature Guide is divided into the following sections:
Section 1 Call Handling Features
Describes the call handling features of the PBX.
Section 2 System Configuration and Administration Features
Describes the features which allow the PBX to be configured and administered to suit the needs of its users.
Section 3 Programming Instructions
Serves as an overall system programming reference for the PBX.
Section 4 KX-TAW848 Maintenance Console Operating Instructions
Serves as reference operating instructions when using the Panasonic KX-TAW848 Maintenance Console
software to program the PBX.
Section 5 Appendix
Provides tables which describe the resource capacity of the PBX, as well as its different tones and ring
tones.
