Set tilt adjustment

See fig. 010409020.
The tilt adjustment can be adjusted to the
user's weight.
By turning the knurled screw (A) inward
or outward, the spring tension of the
tilting mechanism will change.
For heavier persons, the knurled screw (A)
will have to be tightened: by turning it
clockwise.
For lighter persons, the knurled screw (A)
will have to be loosened: by turning it anti-
clockwise.

Gas spring adjustment backrest (option)

See fig. 010410010.
The backrest can be positioned at a
comfortable angle by continuous movement
using a gas spring.
This is done as follows, by another person.
Apply the brake to the wheelchair. See
'Parking'.
Take both handles of the pushing bracket
in your hands.
Pull handle (A) fully upward.
This will unlock the gas spring of the
backrest.
Now pull the backrest backward, or push
the backrest forward, until the desired angle is reached.
Release the handle: the backrest will remain in the position reached.

Getting in / getting out

The following parts can be removed, folded down, or swung aside, in order to facilitate
getting in, getting out, or making a transfer:
Arm-rests can be removed.
Leg-rests can be folded up.
