Riding with the Ibis

To be able to ride the Ibis, this owner's manual describes the following parts.
Inspection before use.

Riding.

Getting in / getting out.
Pushing.
Reducing.

Inspection before use
Before riding the wheelchair, it is important to check the following points:
Whether the tires have been sufficiently pumped up. See technical specifications.
Poorly pumped up tires have a negative effect on the driving characteristics.
Poorly pumped up tires cause unnecessary wear to the tires.
Whether the push bracket has been adjusted to the right height for the person who is
going to push the wheelchair (if applicable).
Whether the wheelchair has been taken off the brake. See 'Parking'.
If everything is in order, the wheelchair can be driven.

Riding
Before you start riding with the wheelchair, it should be adjusted optimally to your
personal needs.
Then you can seat yourself on the wheelchair. See 'Getting in and getting out'.
Now you may start your ride.
As a wheelchair passenger, you are very vulnerable in traffic. Keep in mind that other
traffic participants may not always notice you. Keep to the current traffic regulations and
the Road Traffic Act.
Avoid out-of-the-way routes, so that help can be on its way quickly when needed.
