Operation
Make sure that the handles of the brakes are properly folded down,
so that they cannot accidentally be applied while riding the
wheelchair.
If the wheelchair is stopped on a slope, the brake should be applied
to prevent moving down the slope.

Tilt adjustment seating system

See fig. 010409000.
The seating system can be positioned at a
comfortable angle by tilting the seat. This
way, the center of gravity of the seat remains
at the same position in relation to the wheels,
so that the stability of the wheelchair is not
affected. Also, your knees remain at the
same height.

Tilting the seating system

See fig. 010409010.
The seating system can be tilted as follows.
This is done by another person.
Apply the brake to the wheelchair. See
'Parking'.
Take both handles of the pushing bracket
in your hands.
Pull handle (A) fully upward.
This will unlock the gas spring of the
seating system.
Now push the wheelchair down, or let the
wheelchair come up, until the desired
angle is reached.
Release the handle: the seating system will
remain in the position reached.
